At St James' preschool, you will receive regular updates on your child's progress through the Baby Days app ( https://www.babysdays.com ). As a parent, you can login to see your child's activities and also their key developmental milestones.
A Parent-Led Committee
St James' preschool is run by a parent-led committee, so you can be confident that the preschool's first priority is the children's developmental needs. And it's a great way for parents to get involved too!
Educational Community Trips
The staff take the children on regular trips into the community. Some of the previous trips have included Petts Wood Library, Jubilee Park and the local pet store, as well as nature-spotting walks around the local area.
Preparing the Children for Primary School
At St James', we focus on preparing your child for their next step into primary school. Children are able to stay for lunch on Mondays and Thursdays, which is a great sociable opportunity. On Monday and Thursday, there are two sessions available covering the whole day, so the children will be ready for the longer days when they start primary school.
