We provide care, education and preschool activities for young children aged between 2 and 4 years old.
The preschool follows the school term dates set out by the London Borough of Bromley and therefore is only open during term time.
Monday: 9am - 3.45pm
Tuesday: 9am - 12.15pm
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 9am - 3.45pm
Friday: 9am - 12.15pm
For the longer days on Mondays and Thursdays, children can attend a full day (which is considered two sessions), or split half day sessions (9am - 12.15pm or 12.45pm - 3.45pm). There is also a lunch time option between 12.15pm - 12.45pm.
Attendance at St James’ preschool is subject to minimum attendance requirements:
Any deviation to these requirements is at the discretion of the Management Committee.
We run a daily snack bar for the children where a selection of water, semi-skimmed milk, fruit, vegetables, rice cakes and breadsticks are provided. Children choose what they would like as a snack to encourage independence.
Water is always available and accessible to children through the session.
For those children that stay for lunch, a well-balanced packed lunch will need to be provided from home.
Local authority funding for eligible for those children that qualify. Please note we do charge top up fees for the session time not funded.
To secure your child's place at St James' preschool, we require a £50 registration fee.
